6302 is across the hall so not sure exactly what is below it. We didnt spend a ton of time on the balcony but the time we did we didnt notice smoking though that may have been because it seemed like folks spent time out there in the evenings/nights.

This has me excited to see exactly what ours will look like. We hop aboard Ascent on Sunday and have one of the port side aft porthole verandas.

We have a similar situation but our flight is at 3pm. Hoping to get a table at one of the sit down places and camp out through lunch and then have a movie on the iPad to watch.

Only a few more days. Can’t wait to be on board and these pics are making me want to be there even more!

Fair enough. I was just curious about the folks who seem to be taking it really serious.

Honest question. Does anyone really care that much about rankings like this? I mean there is so much that goes into these things and not to mention the money others have mentioned and at the end of the day it is opinion and opinion us subjective.

Seems like others have already answered but we have done this as well. We got assigned a room over the theater and got ourselves moved to the aft of the ship without any problem since it was another available back there.

Our last cruise and upcoming cruise were booked as guarantees. Our last was on Reflection and we booked a veranda gty and were assigned deck 7 after a week or two I think, but don’t remember exactly which because we did a move up bid and got it (this was toward the tale end of the covid restrictions and the ship was only 2/3rd full). We ended up with a Sunset veranda which was fantastic. For our upcoming cruise on Ascent we booked a veranda gty. I think we were assigned about 2 weeks later. We got one of the deluxe porthole verandas on deck 6. Initially we were in the front of the ship but I was able to move us to one of the ones in the back since we prefer the back to the front. Just a personal preference, no particular reason.

Can’t say just yet but we board in 2 1/2 weeks and will be across the hall. We are curious about this as well.

I think we may be kindred spirits. We cruise in three weeks and he was just asking last night what islands we are going to. I have had the bulk of things planned for a while now and even keep several spreadsheets pages with a variety of info. Havent gotten in trouble yet, but he does joke that if you ever have limited time somewhere, call me cause I can really pack in a lot in a short period of time.
