  1. I just looked at the text with the webinar teaser and my eyes rested on a key phrase “will delight cruisers LIVING IN THAT REGION” With that verbiage and the phrase “game changer” in mind it made me think of the following possibilities: 1. Annual cruising pass where Florida Residents can buy a set number of weeks/cruises per annum at a set price similar to timeshare weeks/points 2. Free parking for Florida residents 3. New “hometown” motorcoach service to Florida residents at no extra charge (been done before by multiple lines either for free or at a charge) 4. Partnership with Brightline - Florida residents receive complimentary/reduced fare transport to/from FLL via Brightline I’m sure it will be far less outside the box than any of those would be. I think some sort of partnership with Brightline, including transfer to/from the port could be an interesting possibility, especially once the extension to Tampa and the rumored Port Canaveral stations are opened.
  2. @Outerdog I was thinking maybe they were digging a canal to build a port in the Villages! LOL
  3. Considering the only ship in the fleet without a winter 2025/spring 2026 deployment is the Coral, and there has not been winter 2026 World Cruise announcement yet we can rule out a new homeport. This leads me to believe it has to be something to do either with terminal facilities or ground transport. I’m not sure either would constitute being a “game changer” but then I’m not a C-suite marketing spin doctor.
  4. I have also heard that applications for new passports are down SIGNIFICANTLY. This would also help with renewal processing times.
  5. all I do is save it to my documents folder than attach it as file by clicking on “choose files” and uploading before saving my post
  6. Here is the updated fare flyer as promised FLYER_THE_LUXURY_OF_CHOICE_GBL_SA2401197592 (8).pdf
  7. I have not received an updated version, but if I do I will post it.
  8. My understanding, per all the communications received from Silversea, is the Essentials will continue to be all-inclusive onboard, minus the excursions. It appears that someone in marketing mismarked page 3 of the flyer and it was sent to agents without a proper proof.
  9. Starting tomorrow 3/18/24, for all new bookings, The big change is that Door to Door and Port to Port fares will have the same deposit and cancellation terms. Both will now require 25% deposit, have final payment at 120 days, $250 penalty from time of booking to 150 days, then % based penalties starting at 15% and increasing thereafter. Other than including/excluding flights, transfers and (sometimes) pre/post hotels included the two fares will essentially be the same on the back end. Simplifies the booking process for consumers, and most likely easier for Silversea to manage on the back end as well. I have attached a flyer that shows all the fare options, inclusions and payment/cancellation terms. FLYER_THE_LUXURY_OF_CHOICE_GBL_SA2401197592 (2).pdf
  10. With the beautiful sea view terrace/pool at the front on decks 16/17 combined with the Dome and the equally gorgeous wake view terrace at the back on deck 8 it really negates a lot of the need for the Sanctuary in my opinion. I’m sure many will disagree with me.
  11. Body Wash actually will work in a pinch, but it leaves the skin feeling differently than a true bubble bath soap/foam and the suds do not last as long. That said if they have decent quality bath crystals all the better!
  12. I'm sailing on the Silver Shadow in December. Do they provide bubble bath as part of their bath amenities? I just sailed Regent in January and loved that they supplied bath foam for taking a bubble bath- was a lovely touch!
  13. They don’t have the “super-duper-fancee” headrests so they aren’t sanctuary loungers.
  14. It was listed in the Patters that way on Enchanted last November, but as I didn't go to the Casino can't say if it was enforced or not.
