Thanks everyone! The agent had her thinking she had to have four tests: one to get on the land portion, one to get on the ship, one to get off the ship at Vancouver, and one to get on the plane. She also told her not to buy from the link that RCCL provided and just buy them off of Amazon. The agent seemed to be not sure of herself and had to keep looking things up and even told her she wasn't sure herself. That through my mom into a tailspin of worry!

So she needs a test to get on the land portion of the cruise, a test to get on the cruise, and a test to go from Vancouver to the US. What about the cruise ship to Vancouver? Does she have to have one to get off the ship too since she's coming from Alaska to Canada??

My parents are leaving next month for a land/sea Alaskan cruise. She got an email from RCCL and is confused as to what they are required to do with Covid tests. She called RCCL and the agent didn't seem to know what was required either and did nothing more than stress her out more. From the email, I gathered that they have to be fully vaccinated, a PCR or antigen test must be taken no more than 2 days prior to their land tour, and they have to order a test to take with them to get on the ship. Is that correct? The agent told her they would also have to take a test to fly out of Vancouver to get back to the US. That doesn't sound right to me. I appreciate any help you can provide so that I can put her mind at ease. TIA
