We have not been on any luxury cruise lines before this one but Azamara was pretty nice too. Quite frankly, we are now spoiled! But since we love cruising in general, if an opportunity presents itself we will consider it. In all our years, we’ve never really had a bad cruise. Some are great, some not so much!

We also just got off the Sojourn on December 1st. It was our first cruise with Seabourn and I can honestly say it was our best cruise ever (and we are very seasoned cruisers). It truly surpassed all our expectations. Dining preferences are certainly "to each his own" and commenting about what one likes and doesn't is free on Cruise Critic. For us, there were absolutely no complaints in that department.We are looking forward to booking another Seabourn cruise in the near future.

We also. have been assigned Group F for 11/17. It is good to know that perhaps we can get on earlier as we will be arriving by bus and are due to be there about 12:30.

I am inquiring about soap dispensers at the bathroom sink. I seem to remember that Celebrity provided bar soap at the sink. Is that still what is done or have they gone the route of liquid soap in at the sink and in the shower?

Sorry, one last question before we bid on a SV. I can see on ship photos that some of the balcony may be visible from upper decks. That is ok but is the area immediately outside the sliding doors covered in any way??

Thank you all who answered. We've never been in an aft balcony cabin but this might be the time to try it.

Perhaps this topic has been covered many times but I have a specific question about the cabin we have booked on the Edge. Does the round porthole window open to let in fresh air? Someone elsewhere on this board likened these rooms to a mini sunroom balcony. I hope we can get some ocean air in it. We have an opportunity to bid on a move up to a Sunset Veranda. Any thoughts on those cabins?
