Just came off the Joy yesterday. The ship is beautiful, the crew wonderful and very good to my handicap mom. But sadly, my cruising with NCL may be over. I been cruising with them over for 10-15 years now. But I need to find a cruise line that is calmer more relaxing without the huge crowds and super loud music. Best spot was observation deck and it's rumored they are making it smaller. The waterfront has less seating than the breakaway. And forget trying to find seating in a shaded area on the pool deck. The food is plentiful and cooked well but the selections are very ordinary, unless you want to pay gratuity and service charge in a specialty restaurant. I think more relaxing to fly to a destination in a fine hotel with an inclusive package. In one of the presentations on board they mentioned a ship is being designed that will hold 10,000 souls. Good God! This just doesn't seem safe anymore. We were worried about a stampede on deck 7 yesterday during embarkation it was insane.

Just came off Joy yesterday and husband had a fever last night. tested positive today. I think I will be next. The ship was so crowded I knew it would happen even though vaxed to the hilt.

Usually don't open until 9pm when in bermuda. On the Breakaway post pandemic and they had a permit. I assume Joy will too.

Hi is the 50lb rule strictly enforced. I have one 30 inch luggage for both myself and my husband. I'm sure it is over 50 lbs although I am able to lift it off the floor a few inches. Do I have to go out and buy new luggage?

Hi again, My mother wants to bring her water bottle on upcoming NCL cruise. Is this allowed? Maybe if she doesn't pack it and carry it on.

Hi, does NCL let you bring your own tea from home? Yes I know tons on the ship but I like a particular one that I want to be able to make in my cabin.

oh, ok thanks. I have a 88 year old with me. I think a bit too much walking for her. I've been there several times with a mini bus tour but didn't remember ever seeing a ferry.

Hi does the NCL Ferry from the dockyard to St George dock nearer to Kings Square or do they use the same dock as the public ferry?

Hi I just want to confirm that as of today July 30, 2023 Bermuda is no longer requiring a travel authorization form before cruising??? Found both yes and no answers when researching.

If you know someone you trust who has a computer that has a camera try checking in on their computer. Ours has a cheap webcam and it worked out well.
