Thanks, Charles! Great tips. I've heard the complementary NCL ferry mentioned on these boards, there's nothing about it on the NCL site. I've been sailing NCL for years and never known them to give anything complementary! 😄 It would be fabulous if they did. Thanks for the tip on St. George. I'm going to read up about it.

I'll be arriving on NCL on Friday Jan. 19. Docking at Royal Naval Dockyards. We're in port from 9:00am - 4pm so not much time. I HATE paying inflated cruise line excursion prices but I've heard that the Bermuda port is often missed due to weather in January so I don't want to book with an external company and lose my payment if we don't dock. (Are there any that refund if the port is missed?) I'm a pretty confident do-it-yourselfer, so that's an option. Thoughts on what to do? Average high of 21C in January so water activities aren't very appealing at those temps. - Is there enough to see at the Dockyards? - There's a ferry to Hamilton but the schedule posted for this year means leaving Hamilton really early to ferry back. - we could ferry to Hamilton and taxi back - would that work? - is Hamilton an interesting place to walk around? - is it easy to find a taxi in Hamilton that will take us back to the dock? Any chance of bad traffic? - the caves? Worth it? I've seen some cool caves in my life? Are these ones special? - taxi tours? I've heard there's a line of taxis that do tours. Or minibus tours. I don't want to sit in a vehicle all day but a ride around the island would be neat. We are 3 somewhat old but still fun ladies. Thanks folks for any tips.
