Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Last time I was there I thought I saw free admission. What did you have to pay?
  2. Does anyone know if there is a way to reserve it ahead of the cruise???
  3. Been on Oasis twice in the past five years, and it was Cats. Going on again for the Thanksgiving week cruise, and every single show, including Cats is already sold out. Ouch!
  4. Totally don't know why it posted again. And I can't figure out how to delete the duplicate post but if you tell me I gladly will.
  5. I consider myself a fairly experienced cruiser, but it doesn't occur to me that I have to reserve the shows in advance - yes, I know I have to do it once I get on the ship. But for our upcoming Harmony 7 nt trip, all the shows are sold out. Seriously? Can we show up and expect to get a spot or are we actually SOL? And what if we want to see the Aquashow, which isn't on the app? When did cruising get so complicated?

  7. Anyone do a good food tour, or city tour without beach stops, or any recommendations? We'll be there in two weeks!
  8. Depends... for me, sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale instead of Miami is a huge plus. I'm on the ship practically a half hour after leaving my house. 🙂
  9. Damn good question, and I have no idea how to fix it!
  10. Having sailed in the last year on Odyssey, Wonder, Freedom and Oasis I was a little worried about sailing on Liberty, where I had FOUR cruises planned. We did the first one two weeks ago and it was wonderful! Sure, there aren't sinks waiting for you in the Windjammer (but the Washy Washy girl was phenomenal), and I kind of missed Playmakers, but enjoyed the extra casino room... the screen by the pool doesn't work, but there are more hot tubs than there are on Freedom. All in all, it was a wonderful cruise and I'm looking forward to being on her again this weekend, and twice more in the next month! A weekend on a cruise sure beats a weekend at home!
  11. So I somehow have my next FOUR short cruises booked on Liberty of the Seas - which I kind of figured was like Freedom, but it doesn't have Playmakers. If I get the UDP, is there anywhere other than Johnny Rockets to have lunch on a three night cruise, where one day you're in Nassau and the next in Coco Cay? Usually do these short cruises on Freedom out of Miami, but I live so much closer to FLL so I'm trying Liberty.
  12. ALWAYS. Living in S. Florida and doing our best with shorter cruises that work with our work schedules, we've been to Nassau, Cozumel, Coco Cay, etc. dozens of times. Our experience is the ship - being entertained, fed, taken care of... maybe one day when we go somewhere other than the Caribbean the ports will be important, but for now, just being on a ship is more than reward enough.
  13. Yes, you can definitely book more cruises if there are different codes for the offer.
