FYI….. if you want to do the cable car on your own, there is a shuttle bus on the square behind the tourist shop. $14 pp, RT.

They took us to Harpa, but didn’t check us in there. We took the earliest bus to the ship from Harpa and breezed thru embarkation. Timing is everything!

Boarded Saturn this morning. So excited to see Damien Solesse is our CD! He’s one of our absolute favorites. Also, we’ve sailed with Harry and Steph from the troupe as well as Laurence the guitarist. All of them are the BEST! Here’s the board….

We kissed a troll statue! It was SO much fun! The trick is to jump in and go under in one swoop. Once you’re in, all you can think about is getting out!

Same thing happened to me! As I was sitting there, they added 30 more bags of ice!

Laurence, Harry and Steph were all on our Vancouver to Honolulu cruise last fall. All of them are so talented!

No, we just went June, 2022.

We did the circumnavigation cruise right after the pandemic and then we rented a car and spent 2 weeks on the Ring Road on our own. Those two weeks were MAGICAL! We highly recommend it if you can do it!

We had the Blue Nose ceremony on our Midnight Sun and Northern Lights cruises. I actually did it and it was a blast! On the Midnight Sun, CD Aaron and the captain jumped in, too! On Northern Lights, CD Elmer did not. No surprise there….

Ok, we are almost always on our favorite deck 3 and I have never noticed an incline! I will have to pay more attention next month! 🤣🤣🤣

We did Delphi excursion because we were staying in Athens for a few days and saw Athens on our own. To this day, one of our favorite excursions in 9 cruises!

We did this a couple of years ago, so it may be different now. We made an early stop to get good pix of the Eiffel Tower and wish we had left there, but you Need to find out how to get to the bus to return! The drive through the city was frustrating because of the traffic! We drove around in circles because of the streets( we passed the opera house 3 times!). We sat at a light for literally 15 minutes, to “see” Notre Dame, then we turned the corner and saw it for 3 seconds on the move. Again, perhaps they’ve changed it now. It would be better for them to drive in and just drop off and let people spend the time seeing what they want to see.

And, don’t cough into your hand then handle the utensils at the buffet! 🤮🤮🤮
