Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. After spending time on over 25 Bahama / Caribbean beaches top 5 included here if you can share a ride…..go to gold rock 🏖️ very natural lunch place down the road heaven ☮️
  2. We are in 10042 in 8 days. it is what it is. although it might have not been a bad idea to decline the “upgrade “ it will be nice to use the spa daily without a big walk. sometimes I shower in the spa for the night out so we don’t have to take turns ☮️ Thanks
  3. I’m looking around and I can’t seem to find pictures if these balconies are smaller than a regular veranda stateroom? I’ve seen one clip of one and it looks like we would be touching knees 😂 worse case scenario spa nearby and not going to Alaska to sunbathe 🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️ thanks
  4. Thanks much 🐻‍❄️ should have mentioned sailing from Seattle
  5. Thanks have a couple of cruises to kill before I dig deeper 🌈
  6. So some of our cruises show up like I typed them years ago the newer ones had a "countdown" and those must have had old hyperlinks? It looks like this when I log in but cannot seem to figure out how to type new cruises above the old thanksss this is what it looks like once I log in so the top 3 cruises were on a countdown - but I don't know where to erase them and just type them out like the purple ones. I also have 2 more to add : ) Princess-Caribbean ABC Islands- 2017 RCCL Jewel of the Seas - Dec 14, 2013. & Feb 7, 2015. NCL Sky, 2013 Carnival Miracle, 2012 HAL Eurodam, 2009 Carnival Glory, 2008 Carnival Sensation, 2007
  7. What are 1….some popular seafood besides crab and salmon 2. …other goodies and specialty foods Thanks! 🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️
  8. In 11 cruises we try what we do best on a cruise or at a resort we eat early because hubby doesn’t want to eat and drink too close together then we nap then we go to any venues with music/dancing/drinks until they shut down. Then the casino 🌈 we did a HAL cruise 2009, closed the place down and had a pub crawl the next night 😎 we are 60 now but feel 30 socially 😂 This June will be Alaska, but even though the vibe will probably not be hopping late, we’ll probably finish with casino and pizza or room service ahhhh. 😊
  9. We are from Missouri also. We will dance till there is no more. I realize there is no 2am nightlife like most of our cruises ☹️ we are 60 but socially 30 😂 the good news is that I sleep late here because I work late so 7 am will feel like my normal morning time however it’s gonna to mess up hubbys time clock because he is the opposite of my night owl biology thanks!
  10. Thanks Girl Gone! We have no interests in hiking around and I just found the duck tour I will go from spaghetti strap evening wear to 5 layers off the ship. 😂😂
  11. Last time our family split up and hubby didn’t get to see this magnificent heaven! bucket list to get him there i have not picked a ship yet and dont kmow if in the last 10 years has changed this option do not want to go to the caves across the street I think there was a good beach eats place down the road our driver called ahead for our lunch just want the driver to hang out an hour or 2 then drive us to a local lunch if still there. i have no patience for a ship excursion for this with 40 other people 😂 its a long drive but sooo worth it! Thanks!
  12. Well, I don’t think Chocovine is going on this trip….corkage fee costs more than the wine I believe 😂😂 Thanks!
  13. Eurodam yes,😊 Thanks for some appetizers! I guess I should have explained more in my post Inside Passage = Seattle. Juneau. Icy Straight Point. Sitka. Ketchikan Victoria British Columbia I am a therapist and work to help others with mental health issues so yes I am tired = when I get back from vacation I am refreshed 🌈 so we do a lazy and an active vacation each year we want to see glaciers, sea life and landscape we prefer going south, but this is a family birthday trip and a bucket list I have a face nerve disease called Trigeminal Neuralgia .03 percent have this. Therefore I really could become verrry uncomfortable if I were to get triggered while trying to trek all around up north, by foot, by small boat etc. There are no pain meds if I get triggered. mostly in remission, but I can’t stop living “just in case” I was fortunate enough to parasail in Maui last year and I didn’t get my face triggered too much. But there’s always that risk. We work to travel, Definitely far far from the 1% 🤣🤣 Hubby gets many points for airfare and car rentals and hotels…because he works his butt off if he didn’t we wouldn’t be able to afford our first suite this one time for this one special family trip ….so excited 🤩 so like burger king says have it your way So do nothing or do everything Thats just one reason we love cruising 😎 PS. rarely on these boards since 2007 have I felt the need to explain myself but it was sort of…… Theraputic. 😂 ☮️
  14. I want to bring a bottle of Chocovine which I have taken on other ships and a bottle of Moscato both no cork to enjoy in the cabin Am I good to go? Thanks!
  15. We are not going on any excursions, except maybe the tram…in Juneau depending on the weather that day our other money will be spent on spa packages our main goal here is to watch the scenery go by take a nap go dancing at night. Therefore besides researching each port I like to start here with those in-the-know 😎 Literally we want to get off each port and have a mixed drink and food. Not pubs. unusual shops? not into history or old timey souvenirs is uber a thing at any stop? expensive to hire a car to get further from overflowing PAX.? Thanks sooo much 🌈
