  1. Yes, how was the dinner exhausting? Inquiring minds would like to know.
  2. Hi Chiliburn, thanks for the info on tthe single meet and a lunch, will try that.
  3. Ok, an on the Bearing Sea Crab Fishing, what month is a good time to go for the eagle feeding photo ops? Went last Sept, an saw two eagles, the guys on the boat said, they were somewhere else at that time. Thanks.
  4. Hi Crew News, Next month will be goin on the Brilliance to Alaska, an haven't decided on the tours as yet, but here goes. In Haines, there's a nature & wildlife photo tour, an in Ketchikan there's a photo safari, thats 25% off. Last yr was on the Crown princess, an took the Skagway photo tour, an it just didn't do much for me. Can you help? Have tried emailing you but no luck. Thanks.
  5. Hey, LAkaye, will be sailin in a few weeks on the Brilliance an will ask the Maitre'D for a table with other singles. Was on the Crown last yr an at a different table every night, didn't like that, one night was the odd person, two couples for dinner.
  6. Hi, tried twice already an nada, so... guess I cin wait.
  7. Hey Papcap38, when are you sailin on the Brilliance? Will be goin on May 26th an can't wait. Can't checkin cuz got a flipphone, an at the moment, my name is "Willa have to wait," til I git to the ship. Hey but thats ok to.
  8. Hi guys, don't know if pilots who bring the ships in has ever been asked before, so here goes. As those who are in the know, what does the pilots day consist of, as to bringing in the ships, does a pilot after docking, do they go back to the office, to work some more, then come back to the ship to sail out, an when they depart from Hwy 19, down there on deck 2, can passengers watch as they board the pilot boat, then when they are on the ship, what do him & the captain talk about, business I'm sure, besides the pilot & captain, who are all on the bridge, are there any women who are pilots, don't worry am not gonna apply for the job, don't think you would want me as a pilot. What are the benefits & pitfalls, an after bein a pilot, would you change jobs, an go back to workin in the stores, or any other job? Got to thinkin about the pilot today, an thought maybe someone here would know. Thanks. Virginia
  9. Hi guys, everytime goin to alaska, take the bioculars. My dad brought a pair home from the WW2, they were made in 1943 an they are awhole better than the ones today.
  10. Hey thanks guys for the info. Will have to look into them.
  11. Hey guys, was wonderin what good places there are to eat at? Will be there on the Brilliance in a few weeks, an would like to check those places out. Have eaten at the Burger Queen & Tracy's crab shack, an they have good food. Thanks. Virginia
  12. Yup, they are everwhere. Recommend binoculars, a big must have.
  13. Have been on that ship twice, an really like the smaller ships.
