Feedback on the Norwegian Sky

We sailed on the Sky last June. Frankly, from the posts on this board we weren't expecting much. So many negative comments had made us set our expectations pretty low. We LOVED it! She is a smaller ship than we have sailed on before. Our cabin was great, with only a porthole, but enough room for the two of us. The staff was great. We especially liked the fact that the alcohol that we usually drink was included in the price of the cruise. I saw many posts that found a way to gripe about that as well. It was so nice that every time we had a drink we didn't have to think twice about what the charges were going to look like at the end of the trip. We had no problems getting drinks or getting what we wanted to drink. The food in the main dining room was what you would expect on a cruise ship, no better, no worse. We are not foodies and the selection is better than what we would have been making at home. And if you didn't like the dinner there is always chocolate melting cake for dessert. So what's there to complain about? The ports we stopped at weren't as exciting as Hawaii or Europe, but we still had tons of fun. The private island was wonderful way to spend a day. I rarely want to take the same cruise over, but in a few weeks we are again sailing on the Sky and this time we are bringing 2 other couples with us.
