Rebuilding gramps snare drum...

1945 Slingerland Radio King "Super Krupa". Took me years, but found the ridiculously rare strainer parts finally, so time to restore it completely.

Okay -- now using Shutterfly. Hope it all works out.

Almost done. Repro snare should be here next week, and it'll be as complete as it was in 1945.

Thanks! Not going to lie, I was almost getting emotional bolting the clamshell strainer parts on. To see it as it should be finally - man, I'm just beyond awed.

But I really need to get some table and background materials - think I'll hit the Tandy Leather outlet for some hides.
