seattle aquarium to pike place market

we are planning on walking from the aquarium to pike place market- what is the best way to get there?

The elevator helps with the hillls....

The easiest is to walk a block up from the aquarium to the pier with the day cruises, cross the street at the light, go through the parking area and then go up a steep set of stairs to the back entrance of the market.

Don't use the first elevator you may come to. The signs are confusing. Go INSIDE the parking garage towards the back and left to the other elevators as you might if parking a car in there. That will take you up to the market level.
