Typically, no. While the flu vaccine is a good idea if you have any chronic health issues, it is not required.

If you mean to cruise, no. The best person to ask about any vaccines is your personal doctor, not on a public forum. Your own doctor can advise whether they would suggest a flu shot given your medical needs/history.

We never taken a cruise where the flu vaccine was required ... BUT we always get flu shots anyway as we would cruising or not. :)

I have a regular flu vaccine with my physician. It is for the season, but have not done it for a cruise.

As someone recommended do check with your doctor not because it is required to cruise (it is not) but to see if you fall in the age group where it is recommended.

It's a good opportunity to also check to be sure all of your other vaccinations are up to date.
