Miami Marriot Biscayne Bay vs Grand Doubletree Biscayne Bay

Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? I understand the buildings are connected. I am trying to find the pros and cons for both hotels.

Any and all information is appreciated.

I've stayed at the Marriott. Nice hotel. Primary decision making for me was I'm Marriott Platinum and have no status with Hilton. So Marriott!

But, yes, they are connected by a small shopping area with a coffee shop and the like. The Marriott is a typical Marriott. If you have a bayview room, you have a great view of the bay.

I have stayed at the Marriott. Really loved the views and also the breakfast buffet was way above average. Very short trip to the cruise port.

Also stayed at Marriott, loved it! The restaurant was great at night for drinks and also breakfast. The best part about the room was the balcony!
