Ships with 5 PAX cabins?

Recommended Posts

Thanks Bob,

Does have Ovation have non-Suite cabins that would take our family?

I know Ovation has "family connected" JS staterooms that would accomodate your family. There may be other options too, but Royal has removed so much functionality from their website that I can no longer find a detailed list of stateroom options for the ship.

I am on the Liberty August 20th with all my kids, their spouses and grandkids. I have my son, his wife, and their three kids in the family panoramic room.

Do you or anyone have any pictures of the Family Panoramic Room - RCCL mentioned this room to me, but wasn't sure what it looked like

Putting 5 people, even if 3 of them are children, in a non-suite cabin, would make for a very crowded room situation. Plus, depending on what you pay for the 3rd, 4th and 5th person, it may not be any/much cheaper than just getting 2 adjoining cabins. With 2 adjoining, you can keep the door between them open so it's like one big cabin, plus you'd have 2 bathrooms.

Hi everyone,

Which ships have 5 person cabins?

HKA

PS 2 Adult & 3 Kids

all of them. however they can only be booked by calling directly or using a TA. they cannot be booked online.

keep in mind that in some cases, it is cheaper to book 2 cabins. there are connecting ones( interior door) or you can book a balcony with an inside directly across the hall if the kids are older

I've done the math on this many times, and it generally comes out worth it to get multiple cabins. We don't book suites, so that generally doesn't enter into the equation, but comparing loading 3 or 4 into a single cabin versus booking multiple cabins is a pretty close proposition financially. Considering the comfort level, space, extra bathroom, etc., it works out for us to get the multiple cabins. You can also cut the costs by booking say, a balcony cabin for Mom and Dad, and an inside cabin across the hall for kiddies. You obviously can't get connecting staterooms that way, but honestly, once one of the kids is over 12 or 13, you really don't need to have that anyway. We actually prefer not having the connecting door.

We did the same. It was about $15,000 for 6 of us in the Royal Family Suite (Explorer) which was good value compared to two or three cabins. Looking at another cruise (Ovation) but it's way (double) way more expensive!!
