Princess Shuttle - Wellington New Zealand

Hello all, would like to know if Princess will provide a shuttle from Aotea Dock to the downtown area in Wellington New Zealand. All information greatly appreciated. Also posted this on Australia/New Zealand port of call and the Princess Board as well. Thank you for all info.

We sailed on the Diamond princess in Feb 2016 and there was a paid shuttle from Princess. It was $10 (AU) for a return trip and it dropped you off opposite the cable car entrance in the city centre.

For Royal the Shuttles (free) took you to Wakefield street in the CBD, very easy location to various points of interest.

On the Emerald in Dec 16 and on the Sun in 2010 there were free shuttles from the port to Brandon St, very close to David Jones and only a few minutes walk to the cable car.

Yep - provided by Wellington, and not Princess though. Was free, and regular (Dec/Jan just gone)

You actually don't have a choice if not on a tour, as port authorities have forbidden people walking off the ship privately due to damage of the wharf in the previous earth quakes. So if you're not on a tour, you'll have to take the shuttle.

The shuttle was dropping off and picking back up from Brandon Street (next to witchery) on our day in port recently. So a nice central location.
