Embarkation Time for Preziosa in Hamburg

We are embarking Preziosa in Hamburg early September and have been given an embarkation time of 15.45.

The ship sails at 18.30 and we are in a Fantastica balcony cabin on deck 11. We are new to MSC, but have been status matched to silver.

If we arrive at the terminal before one o'clock, is it likely we would still have to wait until 15.45 or thereabouts to embark the ship?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I have been told to check when the ship gets into port in the morning and then add 2,5 hours. That is app. when check-in can start.

You should have no problems boarding when you arrive.

Thank you. The ship docks at 7.00am, so hopefully we will be ok about 1pm. Not a bad time to arrive as we will need to check out of our hotel at midday.
