Formal dress

We see more true formal still worn by Europeans and on European itineraries. But still a small minority. Caribbean cruises, even fewer.

"Chic" means something different to different people. You'll see all kinds of dress.

Enjoy the wonderful Reflection and don't worry about the new dress code. Only about 10% are now wearing a tux/evening gown. Standards have eroded and "chic" means anything goes. Have seen jeans on formal nights. Pack less and shop more on your cruise.

I have seen some amount of tuxedos on every cruise I have been on recently (several in the past year). I see very few formal gowns although I have seen a few. Most women who want to really dress up tend to wear a sparkly or fancy cocktail dress rather than a long formal. But if you want to rock a formal - go for it! It's your cruise and as long as you are reasonably within guidelines wear whatever you want.
