11 am flight - EWR - June 14, 2018 Doable???

Would it be safe to do an 11:00 am flight from EWR on Thursday, June, 14, 2018 (Anthem). We will be 1st off the ship (Star Class) and will take taxi immediately to airport. IF not 11 a.m., would 11:30 be more feasible?//TY//Maria

11:00am from Cape Liberty sounds good. But your travel date is a long way away and sometimes airlines adjust their schedules. Even with a small change you should be OK.

Your time is tight for EWR on a Thursday morning. You should plan to self disembark with your luggage and have a prearranged car service like Dial7 or Carmellimo waiting for you. Star Class is a great perk, but don't get hung up on using it to disembark. Your prime objective is to have enough cushion of time to absorb any delays like the ship arriving late, lost luggage, customs and immigration delays, availability of taxis, rush hour traffic delays between the portand the turnpike entrance(very common), turnpike delays, and airport security delays.

We just got off the Anthem on Saturday. We did self carry off the ship at 7:50am. We walked leisurely to the garage, loaded the luggage and drove my daughter to EWR. I just checked my phone - she texted me from her United gate at 9:02am.
