Good morning , my wife and I will be on the Equinox in a few short days :) I will do my best to do a live picture review. For now I will a few pics and notes from our East Coast trip.

We are Vince and Jill, Just celebrated our 25th anniversary and this will be our 3rd Celebrity cruise but have been on may RCCL cruises. Many of you probably saw my Summit review just a few short months ago (we usually don't take 2 cruises a year) but with a business conference in DC this year and being our 25th and my 50th birthday just a few days ago , I said why not plus I found a great deal on a 2c balcony, ooops I mean veranda (celebrity terms :)) $705pp on a resident rate.

Looking forward to your live review, we're on end of October. Am I the only one that doesn't see the pics in the OP's first post?

I don't think he posted them yet. Maybe he forgot? Maybe he thought he did? Don't know. Hopefully he will be back soon!

Ok, so the trip started in DC with my conference (I work for Petco and they fly all the store leaders to one place for a leadership conference) this year in DC at the Gaylord National Harbor. What a freaking nice hotel. 562568b006543bffe7627b57d27c5f10.jpg1dfaa0f21a9880625c1344b80c32a858.jpg760e68d5c994c4809a3908cbce2c951b.jpg63f3d087d5cdd007b0a8b1055384072e.jpg9d04505c144cdc80d13b0e2fc53cc15d.jpg71adefee700b1179507d7972c234e69e.jpg

I was there since Sunday and my wife joined me on Tuesday. We, along with 10 of my fellow store leaders did a night tour of DC which was really cool, especially since we didn't have time during the day. effb6ee48e9555718b3108ea5c14892f.jpg7bbf203729f78ae9ce808ef785bcd271.jpga71fc0823c146a495f0ea1414cf6df67.jpgc72b07f6379eae02fb227081438463c7.jpg034fb467120c4b3f8acf685d467d3fa6.jpg72973505b6a61d782ff5d3d826629c4c.jpg

My conference ended on Thursday so from there we had to make a decision, we were either going to drive to Miami stopping and see places like Charleston Nc, Columbia SC and other Southern cities or we could drive north, see some sights and fly back to Miami. We really wanted to see Niagra Falls, so I looked for flight's from Buffalo and other surrounding cities to see if I could find a good deal. Low n behold, Pittsburgh popped up at $70pp and it's only about 3 hours from Niagra Falls and we love road trips so we opted for the northern route.

It took us about 6.5 hours to get from DC too Buffalo on Thursday, so of course the 1st stop we had to make was Charlie the Butcher!! If you're not sure what that's known for, well it's supposedly known for inventing these!!

Yes, the beef on weck, which we loved on the Oasis. And they were just as good here.

Then it was on to Niagara Falls

What a neat place. We didn't really want to deal with going over to the Canadian side but you tell that the falls there are much more impressive. Next time.

No now it's on to Pittsburgh!!

We left Niagra Falls about 1 I think and had to make sure we stopped at the other Buffalo food invention, the Buffalo wing at the Anchor Bar.a25980b58accdd9bede3a0922115deb7.jpg

The drive to Pittsburgh was about 3 hours and was awesome, one of the prettiest drives I've ever been on. So green, lots of trees and huge farms and ranches. No at all what I expected. I know some of you are probably saying "what?" But remember I'm from San Diego and socal where most of the year it's brown and yucky so this was real treat.

Pittsburgh as well was not what I expected, hilly, green, lots of trees. I don't know where people live here, there are no signs of homes anywhere. We are staying in downtown right across from PNC park and it's just beautiful. I guess I expected industrial, smoke stacks etc. Not like that at all, well at least not coming down the I-79 and I-279.

And that's up to date. We fly to Miami tomorrow.

So as the cruise gets closer if any one wants any pics or questions, let me know.

See y'all tomorrow.
