Catalina pier or tender

Will stop in Catalina in November. Is there a pier or do you tender ashore? Also, either way, where do you get on land at? Looking at going to Two Harbors and trying to figure out how to get there.

As far as I know there is only one port on Catalina island. Not sure but I think it is Avalon.

You tender in at Avalon. Two harbors is way too small and too shallow for larger ships

The only way to two harbors from Avalon is to catch a ferry boat or rent your own boat, I would not recommend it if coming off a cruise ship as you could miss your sailing if late coming back. Best thing to do is rent a golf cart or electric bike and tour the area around Avalon. The town itself is very small with 3 bars and maybe a dozen restaurants along the ocean front harbor.
