chloe kitty Posted July 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2017 We are planning to book a cruise which originates in Capetown and goes to Port Elizabeth. There is a pre cruise tour which only has one day of Safari. There is a tour in Capetown that has two days Safari and you meet the ship in Port Elizabeth. Finally, there are one day Safari's out of Port Elizabeth. Does anyone have any info on any of these choices? Any suggestions? Thank you for any help. Grandma Cruising Posted July 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2017 The longer time you have on safari, the better chance you have of seeing animals, especially the 'big five'. Also check out the parks you would be going to and check reviews showing whether others have seen much there. Rare Keith1010 Posted July 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2017 I agree with Host Grandma. The benefit of the overland tour is you have an early ride and a late one and those are the ideal times to see the animals as these are the times they are out and about to feed.
