Places for Lunch in Maui along Wailea Beach Walk or Kaanapali Beach Walk

Just checked out some phenomenal beach walk videos--one for Wailea Beach in Maui, the other for Kaanapali Beach in Maui. WOW!!! Can't believe I'll be there this Sunday!

Do you have any great lunch spots to suggest that lie along either of these walkways?

We will probably only go to one of these areas rather than 'run all over the place'. So your lunch suggestions may help us decide which of the two beaches to pick.

Hope to hear from several of you.

For the Kaanapali Beach there is Hula Girl. Great food and leave room for the hula pie. :)

As far as we know, Hula Grill still has Happy Hour from 3 to 5 p.m. every day in its Barefoot Bar. The menu is small, but pupus were $9.00 and $10.00 and they have tropical cocktails and certain wines and beers on sale. Make a late lunch of it at 3 p.m. or so. Same atmosphere - just better prices. You might want to check it out online and see if it appeals or not.

Like your version of the name, but it is actually named Hula Grill.

The Hula Grill's Barefoot Bar is a fun place for lunch...umbrella covered tables mostly in the sand across from the beach & they regularly have live entertainment. Meals are in the $15-$20 range & the Hula Pie (chocolate cookie crust, macadamia nut ice cream, hot fudge, toasted mac nuts, whipped cream) is a great dessert.

There's nothing similar in Wailea but I still prefer the beauty & varied terrain along the waterfront Wailea walkway. The hotels & Shops at Wailea have restaurants or a short distance away overlooking the ocean there's the Irish restaurant Mulligans on the Blue.
