Which excursion would you choose?

White Pass Railway and Trail Camp or Gold Panning, Sled Dogs & Scenic Railway

Both could be the right choice for you. Are you just taking a poll??

Liarsville is theatrical, gold panning is all seeded (fake), and it's unknown- if both these tour options are just to Fraser and back?

Wanting more input on the gold panning and other entertainment. One is at Liarsville the other at ALASKA 360 former Klondike Gold Fields. Kids will be 7 and 14 at the time. The one with Liarsville is train up and bus down. Alaska 360 is Train RT.

We did the gold panning in 2011....the train up and bus down. I wouldn't suggest the gold panning.....so many more worthwhile options. Our time could have been better spent. Also didn't like riding the bus back down after the amazing train ride.

Oldest daughter wants to gold pan. She wants to go pan with Disney characters but I also want to ride the train.

I nor my children liked liarsville but that was years ago- it actually might have been long enough ago that it was only one child - so child would have been about 5.

love the train so any combination that includes the train would make me happy RT or one way. we liked the tour that went to carcross if that happens to be an option

I have enjoyed the train up (make sure you sit on the left side of the train) and bus down with a stop at Liarsville. Liarsville included gold panning and lots of history of the gold rush:
