DW is a former smoker and hates smelling smoke from ships Casinos. Just noticed the Corals IC is just out side Casino door. My elderly parents will be accompanying us and love the IC. Can you smell Casino smoke from the sitting areas for the IC,

Thanks for your comments in advance.

Looks like Explorere's lounge is right next to the IC, I guess you could take your coffee and food in there if the smoke kicked up. Also I see a Le Patesserie on deck 5. That sounds like coffee and pastrys. Am I correct?

No pastries at La Patisserie. That's what the IC is for.

The IC is not outside any door. It is a continuous area ... Casion - IC.

When I was on coral, I only went to the IC in the morning, so there was no problem.

Otherwise, I don't know how you could not smell smoke.

There is a partial wall between the IC & casino, and not one large, open area.

It does not completely separate the two areas and some of the slot machines are only 10-12 feet away from these tables closest to the serving area, as you can them back there:

If you have smokers sitting in this area, or at the poker table behind that wall, the smoke may drift over in to the IC. Even further away, there is a good chance if there are a lot of smokers, you will smell it. I have gotten a whif of the smoke in the IC, but never seen smoke itself, rolling around the wall. We usually only go in the mornings too, for coffee, so at night, it may get a lot worse as the casino fills up.

Yes, you can smell smoke. I also hate the smell and it does impact my enjoyment of certain areas. We usually sail with Celebrity because of their strict and always enforced smoking policy. Smoke free casino is the way to go, Princess!

Most people can always wish for them to change but profits probably dictate otherwise.
Celebrity has been smoke free in the casinos for years and their ships are always full and the casino is always very busy. Most people do not smoke, so I doubt if it would impact Princess at all.

Oh, I do agree with that but I'm not a smoker & have a biased opinion.
