Anyone on the Sun now?

Anyone on the Sun just now - how is the food? Looking at booking the Speciality resturants but want to know how they are first.

Tried that -no response - so tried here because its currently in Alaska and thats where we are taking it to.

Not on it now, but was on it June 5th-12th. Our favorite restaurant was LaCucina, with the Moderno a close 2nd and Cagneys 3rd. Believe it or not, Teppenyaki was my least favorite experience. The chef's seemed very staged and rehearsed, the others sitting around the grill werre kind of fuddie,duddies so just not a fun experience. The food and drinks were good....just the eperience not the best.

LaCucina we had Calamari, Shrimp Risotto (to die for!), ribeye steaks with salads and so good! Moderno, the salad bar is out of this world....don't eat to much as they bring you all kinds of different meats afterward along with sides served family style. Cagney's, we each had a ribeye. I ordered mine medium-rare/medium and it came out pretty rare....should have sent it back. It was also pretty grissley (sp). We ate the main dining room one night, buffet and in the Sports Bar after late port times.
