White Bay cruise terminal shore to ship power

News about White Bay cruise terminal in SMH....Government has moved to rule out the installation of shore-to-ship power at White Bay in Sydney. The NSW committee recommended that the terminal be fitted to enable cruise ships to be powered from the shoreline when they were berthed but costs have been deemed too high.

They would rather have the pollution (noise and fuel burning) than have the cost, cannot see why they build these docks without the proper facilities, no power for the ships, no transport for the passengers, just a cheap and nasty money grab to get ships there.
