Cruise Alaska pricing

Is it reasonable to assume that most travel agents in AU would offer Princess cruise/cruisetour prices around the same price, with possible small variations, for especially the more popular Alaskan cruises?

I understand from forums that the market in USA, for example, can offer larger discounts off the published Princes prices.

Would prefer having to not 'shop around' and get more confused than this Senior needs to be.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

US TAs last minute specials to Alaska are offered at prices Aussies can only dream about. It is actually very easy, even for Seniors, to book on line with US TAs for Alaskan cruises. With the Aussie dollar increasing in value, it makes prices even cheaper for Aussies.
