Motion sickness remedies for 3 year old

Hello, I would love to hear others advise on ways to tackle motion sickness for little ones.

My son will be almost 4 on his first cruise coming up and I'd like to have some ideas on how to help him if he starts to feel poorly.

Whenever we travel long distance in the car he does suffer a bit and usually a lolly pop will help, but I'd like him to come home cavity free if he feels sick the whole time on the cruise lol

It seems to be rare for young children to get seasick.

He most likely will NOT become seasick.

If you are worried that he might, please check with his doctor.

Toddlers are, by nature, wobbly....they rarely are bothered by motion. Ask your pediatrician what you should use IF you need something. Usually, a piece of ginger candy will do the trick.

We brought kids seabands, kids Dramamine (not sure of the age requirement because ours are a little older) and Motion ease. The Motion ease is nice because it is supposed to help the inner ear but it also has a nice calming scent.

We have seabands at the ready! Motion ease sounds interesting, I'm in the UK so I may have to find an equivalent but I like the idea of using something with natural ingredients.

My kid is in the minority that he actually does get sick (got kicked out of the kids club for 24 hours and needed to get cleared by medical after he threw up one day). We gave Dramamine (I think it was 1/2 a pill) every night at dinner and no other issues.
