current onboard booking offer

Hello-

I am looking for the current on-board booking offer to see if I should book one now or next month while we are on a Royal cruise.

Is it still 2 perks and OBC added if you book on-board?

On board offer is one perk plus OBC, unless you book a suite!

Ocean view and veranda is one perk

Concierge and Aqua is two perks

Suites get all 4

OBC varies depending on cabin and length of cruise

There is also meant to be savings but the cost was the same as here in the uk, the only benefit we got was the OBC. The difference in the price between veranda and Aqua was stupid (almost £1000 !) and so was not worth it despite the extra perk and obc

The perks are dependant on the future cruise chosen, they are no different to that if you booked ashore.

The incentive to book onboard is a reduced deposit plus obc equal to the deposit paid which can be taken on the current or future cruise, your choice. The deposit/obc incentive is dependant on cruise length and type of cabin and range between $100 and $500.

For Brits the reduced deposit is calculated at an exchange rate of $1.68 to £1 GBP so its an additional saving.

U.K is only offering one perk for concierge and Aqua at present = classic beverage package, so benefit to be gained on board if booking those cabins. Also you can choose which perk which may be an advantage for those not interested in the drinks package.

If you are on Royal and booking Celebrity your offers may differ. We did the reverse on our last Celebrity cruise and while we got some extras they were not as good as if we had booked a Celebrity cruise. Of course the similar Celebrity cruise was an extra $2000......and Royal had an itinerary more to our liking.
