Mliddon Posted July 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2017 We are cruising in Mid-December and the waterfall tours look like a lot of fun. Has anyone taken these tours in December? Is the water too cold? We are Floridians.... don't handle cold water well!!!! ;) Any advice is appreciated Michelle
Mliddon Posted July 31, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted July 31, 2017 I messaged one of the companies providing the tours and they mentioned it was cold but people get used to it quickly. I tend to get cold and stay cold. Has anyone taken this trip in December. I would hate to be miserable for 5 hours..... Thanks Michelle
T&J1014 Posted August 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I am used the Great Lakes temps, low 70s in the summer. I am considering this excursion for our late Nov 2018 cruise.
OceansOfTravels Posted August 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2017 I went the last week of November and it was pretty cold, but you will get used to it very fast. It's also one of those things where you'll want to complain and not do it, but since you're with a large group of people, you'll just suck it up and go with the flow, and before you know it, you're acclimated. I wouldn't let the cold waters defer you though (unless for medical reasons), because the 27 Waterfalls tour was one of our favorites!
