Vancouver Waterfront Station entrances?

Recommended Posts

The Canada Line Waterfront Station guide indicates two entrances - the main entrance in the station itself on Cordova facing Seymour and the one on Granville Street between Pender and Hastings - but the Google shows what appears to be an entrance on Howe at Cordova. Is that not an entrance to the station or can we not use it for the Canada Line train to YVR?

Thanks in advance for your insights.

That entrance on Howe does go into Waterfront Station - but not to the Canada Line platform. While you can get there internally, it's longer and more hassle than just walking around at street level instead.

The Howe entrance feeds onto the platform shared by the first two SkyTrain lines, Expo (the original from 1986) and Millennium (from just before 2000). Doesn't go anywhere near YVR, and trains are very different layout with zero luggage room so avoid.

The Waterfront Station is a major transportation hub....

  • Canada Line to YVR
  • Canada Line to Richmond
  • Expo Line to Surrey
  • Expo Line to Coquitlam
  • Seabus to North Vancouver
  • West Coast Express train to more distant suburbs
