Dining Package Prices Before/On Cruise

We are thinking of doing a dining package (not the ultimate one--not sure which one yet, but probably a 3 or 4 night package if offered) for a 12 night Anthem of the Seas cruise. Can we use OBC to pay for it ahead of time? If not, any idea, generally,if the dining packages are a lot more on board?

We'll buy a drink package ahead of time bc we have seen that it almost always is a fair amount more on board. Just not sure about dining packages.
