Viking river cruise - Paris and heart of Normandy.

I'm taking this cruise next April. I wanted to know a good iPhone app for getting around Paris by train. I'm told our ship is docked in La Parc about an hour from the city . I read getting in to Paris by train is a good option.

Le Pecq is a good way out of the heart of Paris but even at rush hour it's probably not quite an hour. Can't help you with the app. We just used the free Viking shuttle into and back from the city. It worked well for us.

We used Paris Metro Map by Mapway Ltd. it worked well for us.

I have used Citymapper. App for many large cities. Gives routes for train, subway, bus and any combination. Four very useful, and free.

They do have Paris download.

We just returned from the Viking Paris and the Heart of Normandy tour. Viking has a morning shuttle into Paris and in addition, you can ride into the city on their included tour and can be dropped off. The shuttle back to the ship leaves at 5:00 PM in front of the Winston Churchill statue next to the Petite Palais.
