Steve answered part of my question, thanks Steve. If anyone has any tips on riding the old Ferris wheel, ie ques etc, & we are considering riding the train around the park but I cannot find any info except that there is a train. We will be cruising with Viking & plan to spend some time at the Prater since we have visited Vienna a couple of times. We will be attending the opera in the evening. Thanks in advance.

We rode the Ferris Wheel last year, and, honestly, it was a let-down. It was old and rickety, the paint was chipping, the plexiglass was really dirty.....we did one rotation, and that was it. When we were there, there was no line. We took the subway from the ship, and it was only one stop away, IIRC. We didn't do anything else at the park.
