I'm curious about that too! We're doing the reverse, New Orleans to Memphis for the holidays, can't wait!

When I googled it I could see that Memphis averages high 40s but of course it could be different on the river, so I'm going to pack for cold weather and hope for sunny days.

I worked on the DELTA QUEEN back in the eighties. Then during November and December all of our trips were New Orleans round trips as far as Vicksburg and back. I think that your plan is a good one. I remember some nights having to watch for icy patches on the decks but after the sun came up the next morning the temperatures climbed to the upper 50s lower 60s. Two years ago while on the AQ over Christmas we had mostly sunny days and 50 to 60 degree temps also, but it did rain, and hard, all day in Natchez.
