best ports to visit in east Canada?

I've been to Montreal and Quebec and love them both, but I'm not familiar with the other ports. I'm looking at a couple of itineraries, each which have different ports from the other. I know this is subjective, but I'd love to know which ports people think are in the "not to be missed" category, which are "meh," and which were perhaps disappointments.

Thank you.

(I'm also wondering about weather, but I'll ask that in a different post.)

Thank you for responding.

Charlottetown, PEI, is lovely; take a tour but also walk around town. Great woven wool products, hand woven at a store to the left of the pier. Took eight home for gifts and everyone loved them.

Sydney is a great port for those who get out of the town.

You can choose between Fortress Louisbourg, Baddeck and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, and a bit of the Cabot Trail. All these are easily done by renting a car.

We've done this itinerary several times and all mentioned already are great, but we're blown away by Sageunay! Sail through fiord amazing. Townspeople the most welcoming ever. Show La Fabulouse worth seeing.
