If its the carnival terminal it goes pretty well. The only problem I have ever seen is people stacking up outside waiting for their slot. but my last cruise even that wasn't bad, I guess people are getting use to it. Keep your boarding pass and ID in hand or easy to get too. You will show it several times. I am priority so I go faster but from front door to getting sail and sail 15 minutes tops.

RCCL is a new terminal so I expect it should have a good design to it.

We arrived at the royal Caribbean port at 10:30 and we were on the ship by 11:30. Check in was a breeze with no line, then we waited a little bit before our boarding group number was called. We had a much better experience here than in Miami. We waited forever to get on the boat in Miami.

We got off the ship pretty quickly. We waited a few mins in the lounge, got off the boat, found our luggage pretty quickly, and we were back in our car by 9:45. Again, much better than Miami where we waited for our luggage and going through customs.
