Carnival casino rating?

Hmm that may explain why for the first time in many cruises I did not receive a bounceback offer on my last cruise. That may be the end of my loyalty to CCL if that is the case. I have a Premier and Ultra booked later this year and if no bounceback I will gamble elsewhere.

Cheers good luck and happy cruising.

I heard a rumor that Carnival no longer counts table game play as part of your casino rating.

Only slot play for comps and other perks.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO johnny75: This is not true. Last year we, my wife and I, went on the Carnival Vista. Within a couple of days I received a drink card from casino management. During the cruise we received offers for specialty restaurants, and/or bottles of wine. After the cruise received special offer for a bounce back cruise. Of all the cruise lines Carnival has given me the most of any cruise line. That said, we don't take a cruise because of what a cruise line may or may not offer. We go because we like what a particular cruise line does.

We were on different carnival ships in April, May & June & they still are rating the table play, starting with the drink card, steakhouse dinner, etc & ending in the Bounce Back letter.

But the BB letter is much harder to use this year. Cant pick your own cruises any more. Its only what they have open on your deal calender, and only have 3 or 4 months open(not 6). Also very limited as to embarkation port, & amount of days-mostly 3 or 4!!!!

Was definitely not true on Fascination 2 weeks ago. DOU card first night before touching a slot machine (many hours at Heads Up Holdem table). 2250 slot points for the week and received a PMI bounce back (free interior w/ DOU on day 1) which is only given if total points are >5000. I have no idea what my total points were for the week but can state unequivocally that table play was included in calculating my comps (PMI, wine at dinner, cookies).

Check your email if you have a recent bb you did not use. Casino sent out emails to many of us with unused bbs yesterday that showed a couple sailings that were not open 2 days ago. Thinking they might be getting tired of hearing nothing available worth taking and are opening additional sailings to bb people. Unfortunately offer is not showing up online for me so have to call Monday after 10am to see if there really is something worth taking.

Didnt get the email, thanks for letting us know. We have an active BB(One week old now).So I called casino # on the BB offer today. She told me whatever is on our offer calender is the same they have & everyone else has.

(Why are you waiting till Mon. Casino phone # is even open on Sun till 12 midnite.)

But most are 3 nite thru Oct only, Longer ones from Texas, San Juan, Baltimore, etc. Very few from Fla. There is even one in Dec- 2 nites out of LA!!!! What a joke.

Used to be so easy on Carnival, we did many in the last 3 years, where we picked a ship-no problem with the BB offer. We do Royal also, & have gotten good offers from their casino.

3 hours after first email essentially extending the book by date on my PMI, a second email came in saying high call volume - please wait until Monday. So it is a wait. Actually going to wait much longer. We have two cruises from Casino Royale coming up. Canada in September and Greek Islands in October. Also looking into the comp matching being done by MSC and may see about getting on MSC Seaside when it arrives here in Florida.

We received both emails too. They seem to not have their act together anymore. Makes you wonder.

If you haven't called/booked yet, the variety and length of sailings available was significantly more than what showed up in the online rate calendar for my initial PMI offer. (As another poster stated, that only showed itineraries 3-4 months out, and mostly 3-4 day sailings, so I didn't book, which is what generated this offer.)

I called and more or less every cruise that I was interested in was available.
