Try City Airport Taxis, 79 pounds one way, up to 4 pax. About 1 hour 20 minutes around the M25, then onto the A13, a scenic journey indeed.;) Having driven it several times on my way from LHR to relatives on the A13 in Essex.

Thank for the suggestions. The cruise line has now changed the departure and return port to Dover. I checked with City Airport Taxis and for Dover the round trip price was 272 pounds.
