We are booked on our first Az cruise in January 2019. The Journey is doing a 9 day to Cuba and we booked an aft Verandah on deck 7 back in June 2017 for a sum of $8398 before port charges and insurance.

Carol , my accomplice in travel, got a notification from a cruise price watchdog (probably not an actual dog) alerting us to a price hike on this cruise...

Suite$4999 pp$5499 ppprice-went-up.png10%

I am guessing that the cruise is selling well (supply and demand) so if anyone else is thinking of it now might be the time to book unless you think that there may be cancellations at Final Payment time (Sept 2018) and that AZ will scramble to fill any vacancies.

We have to sail aft which is why we booked so far out.

"You have to be daft if you don't sail aft" is our motto.

  • 2 weeks later...

I just got an email from an online TA advertising the 2019 Cuba sailings with a double category upgrade (Int to verandah) and double OBC. Booked a VX verandah for $2999 PP with $900 OBC.

So maybe they are starting the price discounts early?

(BTW - first Azamara booking, extremely excited)

would you mind sharing which site?

thanks

I don't think we are allowed to share TA info???

However, if you click on the Deals link above, then scroll down to their newsletter deals, it is near the top.

Cheers and happy hunting!
