Hoping those at Canada Place are ok

I think anyone even suggesting that this is or could be a 'terrorist incident' is a panic monger.

Either that, or perhaps watching far too much CNN.

Road accidents and fatalities are happening each and every day. Are we to start suspecting that every fatality could be terrorist related? Makes for good entertainment TV on the new channels perhaps.

It happened on a very congested street between the Pan Pacific/Canada Place and the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Lots of gawkers looking instead of driving, lots of pedestrians gawking when they should be watching, and lots of motorists sitting in the no stopping or passenger loading zones. Nothing more to it.

Not sure if anyone wanted a further update on this tragedy but they were all related. A very respected doctor from the U.S. died.

Here is the link if you wanted to read it:

Thank you for the update. Yes, I am interested in reading future updates, too.

Thank you RuthC. I wasn't sure if I should post any further links but this incident really touched my heart thinking of them being so happy and then suddenly life changed. The daughter losing her father basically right in front of her will haunt her forever.

Did the story ever come out if these people were checking into the Pan Pacific as hotel guests, going on a cruise, etc.? They were off-loading luggage from the back of the SUV, correct?
