NCL current alcohol menu

Has anyone been able to find current alcohol menus for any of the NCL ships? Possibly with prices. My brother and I will have the UBP and would like to get an idea of what is available and covered pricewise under $15. Most menus I have been sent to were outdated. Not sure why NCL makes them so hard to find.

I know somebody posted one here somewhere, but bottom line, most stuff is covered. Are there certain things you were looking for? I just did a google and found this: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2348836 from last year.

We sailed in Jan. Most drinks were covered by the $15. Virtually all the wines, all the beers, and most of the cocktails. Every menu had a couple cocktails that were $17.95 and about half of the martini bar was over. But you could certainly go anywhere on the ship and find plenty of covered drinks.

A lot of people like to look at excursions and ports of call information before they cruise. I'm not those people. This is based on the most recent information I was able to locate. I won't be able verify it in person for a couple of months, but it should be reasonably accurate. Please note that these are liquor prices from the menu and not every single drink out there. There are some INCLUDED drinks which are made with EXCLUDED spirits, but from what I've been able to determine, the liquor woud be excluded unless it was in that special magical potion on the list. (Patron Silver is an example.)

Thank you, it seems that NCL made some changes earlier this year to the service charges, so I wondered if drink prices were affected too.

I have never ordered any drink on past cruises that went above $15, but I have heard the amount above $15 is billed to your account.

If I read the Terms & Conditions on the package, I think you pay the difference on drinks, but Super/Ultra Premium Liquors are excluded. That would mean that you could not pay the difference for the Patron. I'm sure someone with experience can tell us if there is Patron for $1.95 with UBP or Patron for $16.95 with UBP.

We do not have any drink package so will be paying drink by drink. I like a simple vodka and lemonade drink, so will I be charged the price of a vodka shot plus the charge of a "soda"/lemonade?

Such good to know information! I got the UBP for our cruise but it's helpful to know what an actual "ultimate beverage" could be. ;)

i continued to be baffled by this, as they are both the same price at the liquor store, yet NCL wants to charge $7 more for flavored.

According to the terms and conditions, Excluded should mean that you can't get it at all unless you pay full price. The relevant information from the Terms & Condition is: If you look at the photos BirdTravels posted above, anything on my list that has a $16.95 price is Super Premium and would be excluded. Also, anything labeled "Ask" is Ultra Premium and also excluded. If I'm reading that wrong, I'm sure someone will let me know. The "pay extra" thing would be more for something like the Espresso Martini at $17.95. In that case you'd pay the $2.95 overage plus 18% service or $3.48

I sailed the Epic in March. I payed a $1.95 plus tip upcharge for Woodford Reserve. It worked the same way for premium martini's. If you enjoy booze the "free" UBP is a heck of a deal.

We do not have any drink package so will be paying drink by drink. I like a simple vodka and lemonade drink, so will I be charged the price of a vodka shot plus the charge of a "soda"/lemonade?

No, on our first NCL cruise we did not have the package. The price listed is for pretty much any drink made with that alcohol. Mixers don't get a separate charge.

Does anyone know how something like vodka and Red Bull would be treated?

I don't know first hand, but I'd assume that'd be an upcharge since Red Bull isn't a standard mixer.
