6/25 Seattle Pride parade Traffic interruptions

Just a heads up that the pride parade is sunday and it will impact traffic to Pier 91 as it ends near the Space Needle. You might want to consider a flat rate option as traffic is often bad. Coming from the pier it shouldn't matter much but going from a downtown hotel will be an issue.

It will also affect those going on the Pearl at Pier 66 as well if it's following the same route as last year down 4th Ave.

Our cab driver told last year that the parades (all, not just this one) get 4 hours and even if they are done in an hour the streets usually stay blocked as that's what the parade permit allows for. From 6th ave we had to go to just about Pioneer Sq. to get around it as even back where they staged the parade was still closed. So if you have to cross 4th Ave allow more time.
