Silversea ships in Bergen - Photos

Today the lovely Silver Wind called into Bergen, Norway.

I passed her on my commuter ferry this morning, and took a batch of photos. The full set is up on my hobby blog of ships in the city:

There are a couple of other calls scheduled for Silversea ships over the coming months, so I'll post photos on this thread as they come up, for anyone who is interested (maybe even those who are on board the ships) :)

Thx for posting the pics ShipsInBergen. We were so fortunate to experience a full day of sunshine while we visited Bergen in 2015. Such a lovely city.

That definitely is fortunate! It rained nearly every day in June this year, but then today the sun finally came out in all its glory :D

Les, I just spent 30 minutes trying to find a way to direct-message you, only to find out that CruiseCritic prefers that we tell *everyone* what we have to say.

All I wanted to say, really, was that I just wanted to get your link another link in the great web. Peace, brotherl

Hehe, yes the forum is a great source of info but is certainly annoying in not letting members PM each other. I don't think it's down to hit on performance or storage costs, so I suspect it's either a security thing or more probably to discourage third parties selling or even info relating to deals get pasted around losing the site revenue. Maybe all of them!

My email address is cruise-trip@europe.com which is simply a redirected throw away address I can be contacted through.

Were you there today for the Winds sister ship, Silver Cloud? If you're quick you'll still catch it before she leaves the harbour! Lol

Sadly Silver Cloud was berthed on the 'wrong' side of the dock today, so I only got a glimpse of her forward half. No interesting photos there unfortunately!
