Most beaches along the malecon can provide thevenue you're seeking. I would suggest taking the tram from port versus walking to taxis outside the port gates as it could take 3-4 taxis to handle your party. The exception being if you wish to go to Blue Kay. They are not on the tram route. You'll need to walk back along the malecon toward the lighthouse to get there. A taxi will be able to drop you off right at Blue Kay's front door. I also suggest avoiding any AI. People loves these but they run $50+ per person. Not a "cheap" day.

If taking a tram, get off at the second stop. The clubs at the first stop do not offer as good of service as other clubs further down the malecon. They are also very aggressive in trying to get you to stay at their places. clubs along the malecon to look for are Krazy Lobster, Tropicante (you can reserve a group of loungers in advance) Pez Quadro, or the beach in front of Hotel Caballo Blanco (their restaurant is excellent). Barefoot Beach and YaYas are also places to look for, but there are recent reports of poorer service and Barefoot often handles cruise ship beach breaks. Do beware that a lot of clubs have lounger hawkers who will attempt to get you to their club. Not all of these are good places to stop. For example, El Faro, next door to Tropicante will attempt to steer you to their loungers by claiming to be a part of Tropicante. They are not. And remember there are no real dividers/barriers/walls between clubs all are open right to the beach and the "club" itself is just another store front.
