Solstice versus Reflexion : Any big differences?

Hi,

We just came back from a cruise on Solstice last month, and we are now considering one on Reflexion.

Although they are in the same class, I was wondering if the experience aboard is similar or different; and if so, what are the main differences?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences!

The Reflection is a bit larger, in place of the Hot Glass show is a speciality restaurant, The Lawn Grill which is our favorite. There is another speciality restaurant The Porch. So more speciality options.

The Sky Lounge is about 1/2 the size of the Sky Lounge on the Solstice. Other than that pretty similar.

We have been on the Solstice 4x and Reflection 2x love them both but because of the Lawn Grill would pick the Reflection over the Solstice all other things being equal.

Reflection has an extra stateroom deck, and the Sunset bar at the rear is much better to sit at and admire the view.

Not sure if the Sky lounge has been halved on Solstice like Reflection, as it was in 2011 we last sailed on it. A pity if it has.

Unless you are in a suite or AQ you may not notice any significant differences.

The cabins are the same. The ship's dimensions are a little bigger and may appear a little larger by the way that they filled in the upper decks.

The reflection theme of the Reflection is apparent in the various art work and sculptures around the ship.

Some of the bars are arranged a little different and may have different style chairs, stools and etc and may be expanded a little.

When we were on it a few years ago there were more gym options such as a private suspended type and extreme workout room for extra fee.

The ship is basically the same but a little different. Enough for variety and to be a little different while maintaining all of the S class features.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌞

A main difference is that on the Reflection the buffet, pools, and Sky Lounge are on the same deck. This is not the case for the Solstice. Also, the Solstice has the Hot Glass Show instead of the Lawn Club Grill.

The Reflection will seem more crowded.
