Parrot Lovers Cruise ...

Has anyone been on this? Is it worth it? What was the experience like?

We are avid parrot enthusiasts and have several cockatoos, conures and amazons of our own. We recently stumbled upon this, but had not heard of it before.

In looking at the prices for the cruise booking through the cruise line vs. booking it through the group that sponsors it - it is much pricier! I realize that a large donation is made to the World Parrot Trust Organization and I'm sure that a lot of it goes to the speakers that will be available for different things on the boat and the excursions seem to be more parrot oriented than the regular excursions offered.

Our big concern is that this is just normal everyday parrot information that we, as 25+ year bird owners already know.
