Yeah, just got off the grandeur and they have slowed the boat to get out into international waters so no-none- nada ,the first night. The last night they closed at 9pm!!. This is now rccl policy. Also seemed they have changed the points system. A lot of people were upset when they found out what they had? Is the carnival ship out of balt. Also doing this? What is the best casino rewards program out there? Thanks

I was surprised by the casino policy on the Grandeur. It changed last fall sometime between September and November. When I say surprised I mean I was pretty cranky about it. Anyway, we sailed on the Pride in March and just got back from the Pride today. The casino is open about an hour after sailing from Baltimore and remains open the last night. I can't explain why Carnival is allowed to open but Royal is not. Both cruises on the Pride have been very nice and the casino has been generous with perks and "Bounce Back" offers. I am a long time Club Royal member but their new policy has made it difficult to play.

Royal caribbean did'nt change it- it is State rules which changed in the past year or so. I think the Pride did something a little teensy bit wrong and hopefully they dont get caught. Others i have spoken to who have sailed the Pride recently said that they also were not able to gamble the first night.

Not sure what the big deal is about- i am a club Royale member as well but believe me, i more than make up for the loss of the first night and a few hours on the last night with all of the days in between so it really does not matter to me.

I just returned from the Pride on Sunday June 18, 2017. The casino was opened shortly after sailing from Baltimore. The casino on the Pride also opened just after sailing on our cruise in March from Baltimore. I have no reason to post incorrect information.
